Dry Mix Recipes

Nana Lynn's Salsa Mixing Instructions

Mix 2 teaspoons Nana Lynn's Dry Salsa Mix with one 14.5oz. can of Diced Tomatoes (we use a hand blender to mix in a wide mouth canning jar). Hint: Make sure to shake up the dry mix first because heavier ingredients tend to separate during storage.

Cream Cheese Vegetable Dip

Combine 8 oz. cream cheese and 1-1/2 teaspoons Nana Lynn's Dry Salsa Mix.

Festive Cheeseballs

Combine 8 oz. cream cheese and 1-1/2 teaspoons Nana Lynn's Dry Salsa Mix. Add 1 jar pimento cheese spread, shape into balls, then roll balls in chopped walnuts and dried parsley flakes.

Sour Cream Vegetable Dip

Combine 1 pint sour cream and 1 tablespoon Nana Lynn's Dry Salsa Mix.

Cheesy Salsa Dip

Prepare 1 batch Nana Lynn's Salsa and pour over Velveeta Cheese (cut up into cubes) then melt in the microwave or in double boiler. Serve with corn chips or on hot dogs.

Sandra's Goulash

Fry one pound gound beef with chopped onions and bell peppers. Add one batch prepared Nana Lynn's Salsa and one package of your favorite pasta (cooked and drained). Top off with grated cheddar cheese and enjoy!

Julie's Meatloaf

Mix 2 pounds ground beef, 1 sleeve saltine crackers, 3 eggs, 3/4 cup (prepared) Nana Lynn's Salsa, 3 T. Ketchup, salt & pepper.  Place in 2 loaf pans, bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
